Group pictures is often a problem, one or more people always blink at the wrong time.

Renowned photographer Scott Kelby in his book "Digital Photography" gives great advice, how to avoid it: "So, all closed their eyes.

And now they were ready to open. Three, two, one ... opened."

After that, I think in  mind  one second and only then take a picture.

This basic approach works wonders.
